I have always had an interest in art and design from an early age, slowly but surely gaining more and more knowledge as the years progressed. And, since I started earning my first paychecks as a young man some years ago I have had an avid interest in collecting art. Since that time, looking at art, meeting artists, working inside the art world as a private consultant and dealer, and building my own personal collection of contemporary art and design, I have gained considerable insight into the world of collecting. Growing up in Basel, Switzerland – long considered a virtual showcase of contemporary art – I have developed an early passion for art and art collecting. And, since that time, I have made it my goal to one day share this passion and considerable insight.

It would not be exaggerating to say that I have lived and breathed ART for something close to 30 years now! I have a cultivated interest and enthusiasm for researching new art and artists. My own professional expertise was developed through the years with a focus on design specifically – ranging from Interior Design to Graphic Design. Over recent years I have been informally guiding new and seasoned collectors in acquiring everything from single art works to building comprehensive collections – always with an eye for quality and craftsmanship. I’ve become accustomed to working with collectors, both private, corporate, and public. Because of my connections and particular relationship with the art world and many working artists and dealers, I’ve created a special interest in Emerging Art.

As a consultant with extensive knowledge of how artists work and with a strong intuitive and learned knack for how the emerging market moves – I can bring a unique perspective to collecting that benefits all my clients. It is my goal to work personally with each of my clients – to get inside of their minds and passions. In other words, I work diligently to find what it is that my clients desire, and I tailor my expertise to helping them acquire some of the best art work being produced today – maximizing the quality and value of each and every choice they make. More than just a business, I seek to build a close relationship with my clients and often act as a facilitator, guide, and even educator. Navigating what can seem like a jungle of information and visual overload, I provide expertise, insight, and access.
